Most manufacturers treat glovebox shipping as an afterthought. They build the unit, throw it in a standard crate, and hand everything over to a third‑party freight forwarder. No one pays attention to the unique weaknesses of a sealed glovebox system.
This is where our global supply chain works differently. We build shipping protection into our workflow from the very start, not as a last‑minute step.
Before crating even happens, our technicians lock down every moving part inside the glovebox. Trays, gas lines, valves and internal fixtures get secured. Nothing can rattle, slide or rub against surfaces during weeks at sea.
Next comes layered moisture and salt protection. Ocean freight exposes cargo to humid, salt‑rich air. We wrap the whole system in heavy‑duty barrier film. It stops corrosion and moisture from getting to rubber gaskets and metal surfaces.
Everything goes into a reinforced custom wooden crate. We fill empty spaces with dense shock‑absorbing foam. There is zero room for the glovebox to shift around inside.
We do not stop at packaging. Every glovebox goes through full pre‑shipment QC. We run leak tests, check panels, and go over every accessory. Large systems get shock and tilt indicators stuck to the crate. If handling gets too rough somewhere along the route, we will know. Photos get filed for each order for full traceability.
Speed never comes before safety for us. We would rather add one extra day of preparation than risk sending out a poorly protected unit. When your glovebox arrives at your facility, it is ready to go, with no unexpected repair work eating into your project timeline.
